You want to train with me?
Man, you must be ready for the next level. Seriously.
Some people love how I train. I'm pushy. I'm funny. I'm demanding. I'm calculating. I don't like 2nd place. I believe in total annihilation of whatever is not in accord with the goals we have set for ourselves.
Others don't like my style of training. They whine and complain. They say they want to take days off or get to it later. They want me to give them the short cuts because they say I make it look easy and I must know a short cut.
You know what I tell them? "Keep your freaking money and if I did have a shortcut, I wouldn't give it to a lazy scoundrel like you. Now, be gone and lose my number." (I'm usually joking about the 'losing my number' part but I am quite serious about being gone. I want their head to get small as they walk or run away from me.) I think and was taught and practice myself that what is worth having is worth working for and if I can't listen to my coach, I don't want to win ball games i.e. the game of life.
